PSLE Oral Question 2026 - We taught it. PSLE asked it. 🎉
Q: What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?
We would like to highlight that this area has been thoroughly covered in our Primary 6 curriculum this year, both during our June Holiday Programme and in Term 3.
Our Primary 6 pupils have explored topics such as:
1. Games I Like (board games, word games, sports etc)
2. Why I Like Reading / Watching TV
3. My Hobby
We train them to speak from experience, NOT memorised scripts so they are able to elaborate confidently when prompted further by examiners. They are taught to use key ideas that they could naturally weave into their personal responses:

taking a break from work or schoolwork

doing something pleasurable and enjoyable

relaxing and unwinding
-
feeling refreshed afterwards
-
having an opportunity to be creative
This is precisely why we place emphasis on building transferable ideas in our curriculum—so that pupils can confidently apply what they have learnt to a variety of PSLE questions.
PSLE Oral Question 2025 - We covered it and it came up! 🎉
Q: Why do you think people choose to eat at this hawker centre?
We practised with students on: Do you like eating at hawker centres? Why or why not?
We provided notes covering 3 key reasons:
The food
The price
The environment
Q: Do you think children should learn to cook? Why/Why not
We practised a topic on helping at home and focussed on simple practical cooking such as preparing their own breakfast or heating food in the microwave oven (learning to use simple kitchen equipment), and ending with a strong conclusion that it is an important life skill, teaching them to be more independent etc...
Pupils are reminded that the notes are not for rote learning but they are a bank of key ideas that they can transfer and apply to their own personal experiences. The goal is to help students respond naturally, confidently, and authentically during the examination.

Congratulations to Our Former Student, Christine Goh!
We are proud to share that our ex-student, Christine Goh (student of Dunman High) — who attended our Centre from 2018 to 2020 — has been awarded the Prime Minister’s Book Prize for Bilingualism.
We are especially touched by the heartfelt message from Christine’s mother:

We are so proud of Christine’s achievement and grateful to have played a small part in her bilingual journey. We wish her continued success ahead!

​2024 PSLE Oral
We are pleased to announce that just like in previous years, the 2024 PSLE oral topics for Day 1 and 2 were successfully covered at our centre. These 2 topics were covered in Primary 5/6. We have a wide range of topics that we cover over a span of two years, ensuring thorough preparation.
Day 1 PSLE topic: Do you like being outdoors? (The discussion was centred on visiting a park.)

Our P5 topic: Tell me about an outdoor activity you enjoy. Our notes focussed on spending time at East Coast Park.
An added advantage for our P6 pupils: A week before the oral exam, the
P6 pupils did a passage written by us on the benefits of having community
parks in Singapore’s heartlands!
Day 2 PSLE topic: Appreciating the elderly/helping the elderly/ spending time with them.

Our P5 topic: Community service and visit to the old folks’ home. Students were given the opportunity to share in class about a similar experience during their school’s Values in Action activity.
Our P6 topic: Kindness. The notes given were about showing kindness and helping an old man (a busker) by giving him money so that he could buy himself a meal or some necessities.
We have received positive feedback from our students about their exam experience☺
